Professional Courses

Our professional programs and workshops cover fundamental floral techniques that will help you jumpstart a career or independent business in the floral industry. You will also learn tips and tricks of the trade, something they do not teach in regular floral design school.

Basic Professional Florist Training Program

The Basic Program is designed to provide the student needed for an entry level position as a floral designer. You will learn foundational skills and over the course of six weeks move into more intricate design work. No prior experience or education is required. We also offer you a continuing one year mentorship with us after completion of this program—please contact us for more details.

  • Small class size (3-6 students). Please note that if only one person is registers, this program will be cancelled.

  • Private lessons are available. Please contact us.

  • This program consists of 6 classes at 6 hours per day (total 36 hours)

  • Classes are held once every two weeks though special exceptions or considerations can be made. Please ask us for more details.

  • 10 am - 5 pm (lunch time 1 hour)

  • Cost:      Total $2888 + tax

    • Registration fee $100

    • Tuition fee $2777 (all flower, greens, floral supplies and text book are included)

Day 3, Design #3 / L-shape, Crescent and Contemporary

  • Colour Theory

  • Balance, proportion, scale, focal point, line, form, space, depth

  • Shape of arrangement (L shape, crescent and contemporary)

Day 4, Administration & others

  • Proper Care & Handling of Fresh-cut Flowers

  • Tools, containers & mechanics

  • Basic Costing & Mark-ups

  • Hand tied bouquet and wrapping

Day 5, Basic Wedding

  • Hand tied bouquet

  • Corsage and boutonnières

  • Pew flower

  • Centerpiece

Advanced Professional Florist Training Program

This program provides several workshops to expand your professional floral education. You can select particular workshops for your needs. If you are planning to open your own floral business, we recommend that you complete the Basic Professional Florist Program followed by all of Advanced Professional Florist Training Workshops.

  • House plants, plant basket, succulent & cactus garden

  • How to dry flowers

  • Artificial flower, centerpiece and wreaths

  • 6 hours/$420 (all flower and materials are included)

Workshop 4

  • Intermediate wedding flower

  • Large alter arrangement

  • Tall centerpiece

Workshop 5

  • Advanced wedding flower

    • Written notification 7 days before the start date: full refund (except registration fee)

    • Less than 7 days before the start date: no refund

  • Advanced Program

    • Written notification 7 days before each course date: full refund or reschedule

    • Less than 7 days before each course date: no refund/reschedule
